Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the services of LiftWay Woodridge Towing, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services. These terms apply to all customers who request towing, roadside assistance, or any other services we provide.
2. Services Provided
LiftWay Woodridge Towing provides towing, roadside assistance, vehicle recovery, and related services. We reserve the right to refuse service if we determine that a request is unsafe, illegal, or beyond our operational capabilities. All services are subject to availability and may be delayed due to weather, road conditions, or other factors outside our control.
3. Payment and Pricing
Payment for services is due at the time of service completion unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Pricing is based on the type of service, distance, vehicle type, and other factors. We provide price estimates when possible, but final charges may vary based on actual conditions. You are responsible for any tolls, parking fees, or other expenses incurred during the towing or recovery process.
4. Vehicle Ownership and Authorization
You represent that you are the owner of the vehicle being towed or that you have proper authorization from the owner to request our services. We are not responsible for disputes regarding vehicle ownership or authorization. If we receive conflicting claims about a vehicle, we may hold the vehicle until ownership is legally resolved.
5. Personal Property
You are responsible for removing all personal property from your vehicle before it is towed. LiftWay Woodridge Towing is not responsible for any personal items left in the vehicle during transport or storage. We recommend that you take all valuables, documents, and personal belongings with you before the tow.
6. Liability and Damage
We take great care in handling your vehicle and use professional equipment and trained operators. However, we are not liable for damage that results from pre-existing conditions, hidden mechanical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We carry insurance as required by law, and any claims for damage must be reported immediately and in writing. Our liability is limited to the amount covered by our insurance policy.
7. Cancellations
If you need to cancel a service request, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after our operator has been dispatched may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover the cost of dispatch and travel. The amount of the fee will depend on how far the operator has traveled and the time spent responding to your request.
8. Storage Fees
If your vehicle is stored at our facility, daily storage fees will apply. You will be notified of the storage rate at the time of service. Storage fees begin accruing 24 hours after the vehicle arrives at our facility. You are responsible for retrieving your vehicle in a timely manner to avoid additional charges.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LiftWay Woodridge Towing, its employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, including any claims related to vehicle ownership disputes, personal injury, or property damage.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of Illinois. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
